If you want to do it in town, then 汉口江滩Jiangtan (at Hankou district) is the best option for dinner. Then, you could take your friend to 王家巷码头Wangjiaxiang ferry terminal (just near Jiangtan) for 40mins' river crossing tour from Hankou district to 汉阳门(中华路)Hanyangmen(Zhonghua Road) ferry terminal at Wuchang district. During this trip you may enjoy the beautiful night piece beside the river like: Changjiang River Bridge, Yellow Crane Building.....
