Train from Beijing to Lhasa

My husband and I are going to be in Beijing the last week of august and the first week of september and we would like to take the train from Beijing to Lhasa. What is the schedule of this train, can we book online, how much does it cost? We go one way and fly back from Lhasa to Beijing, because of our time schedule. Please advice. Thanks, Margriet
