About:Chengdu Travel

Is it possible to travel by hired car (or bus) from Xiahe to Chengdu?

We need to get from Xiahe in Gansu to Chengdu. Is it possible to hire a car with driver in Xiahe? There will be 4 of us. We would also like to stop in Songpan to spend the night, and then continue the next day to Chengdu. I understand that sometimes this route is closed to foreigners. Will this be the case at the end of August/beginning of September?

You could hire a car from Xiahe to Songpan and then proceed to Chengdu. It is better to get advice from an agent in advance.

As I know, the fare may be around 7,000cny, and many local travel agencies provide the service. You may go there and have a check.

ofcourse we have cars and jeeps to sending you from xiahe to songpan and langmusi or chengdu.if you reall come to tibet.we will pick up you to airport or bustation ...
