visa hours of china embassy in moscow?

I am a Canadian, teaching in Moscow, and myself and a Scottish friend are doing the Trans-Mongolian in the summer. Because we are teachers, our hours to hand everything in is a bit limited. From what I can see, the visa office is only open 9-12 monday - friday??? Is there any way around this? We would like our passports back ASAP as well, as we have other travel plans and needs for them in Russia.

Yes, the office hours for visa application at China embassy in Moscow is 09:00-12:00, Monday - Friday. If you need your passport urgently, you can apply for Rush Service, it takes 2 working days for visa processing, you can pick up your visa on the second day of application.
