How long must a passport still be valid when entering in China ?

I plan to go to China for tourism in August. My current passport expires in November 2011. DO I need to get a new passport before applying for the visa ?

When applying for China visa, your passport is required to be valid for more than 6 months. And you can enter China any time during the validity of your China visa. So, in your case, you may need to renew your passport first. Or, you can try to submit your China visa application as soon as possible.
