travelling on our own whilst in beijing

Question

We will be staying beijing in June. What is the weather like then? Will it be easy for us to travel around ourselves or obtain information about tours from our hotel. we are interested in the wall etc, but wish to see a large section of the wall. What transport would we travel to a really nice part of the Great Wall. thankyou for taking the time to reply..

It is summer and the weather will be hot. Just wear summer clothes. I think it is okay for you to travel alone and I suggest yougo to visit Mutianyu Great Wall. The bus to Mutianyu can be found in Dongzhimen Traffic hub in Dongzhimen Waixiejie. Direct bus at 7am and 8:30am. Bus number is 936.
