We are planning to go to Emei Shan in late October or early November. I have a few questions1. Where is the Emei Shan national park entrance? Is it before or after Baoguosi?2.  We are considering hiring a car with driver to take us from Chengdu to Leshan and then to Emeishan. Are the tourism buses the only vehicles allowed to go up the mountain or are private vehicles allowed to take us up there?3. How do we get to the Wanniansi cable car. If we go to Wanniansi first, where can we take the bus to go to the Jinding cable car?4. If we would like to go to the Qinyin pavillion, do we walk there when we are at Wanniansi?5. Is it easy to walk to the Elephant Bathing Pool from Leidongping?6. How frequent is the monorail from Jinding to Wanfo temple?Thank you.

1. Baoguosi is just the entrance of Mount Emei.2. Private vehicles are also permitted there, so you can hore a car to visit Emeishan and Leshan.3. The cable car station is near to the parking lot of Wanniansi. You can take the cable car from Wanniansi to Jinding.4. Yes, seems that walking is the only way from Wanniansi to Qingyin Pavilion.5. Leidongping is located upper than Elephant Bathing Pool, so it is easier to walk.6. It's said that the monorail has been stopped.
