About:Chinese Embassy in France

I am a french national living in the UK. I am going to be traveling for the next year, starting from May 2011. I am planning to arrive in China via Hong Kong from mid-September. I tried to apply for a double entry visa from the UK, but this request was denied. How easy will it be to obtain a passport on route, in either Santiago, Melbourne or Hong kong? I won't be in any of these cities for longer than week.

It is hard to say the visa application on route, the visa rule in different countries or regions is different, you can have a try in Santiago, Melbourne or Hong Kong.
