About:Getting to Macau

Hi,

We are arriving at HKIA around 6.00am on 18th May 2011 and we are wanting to go directly to Macau, staying at The Venetian.

I have read a number of your Q&A on this site (which is extremely helpful!)

Can you please let me know the best ferry for us to take (i was thinking the TurboJet) - as arrival times can sometimes be delayed - do you recommend buying the Ferry tickets prior to us arriving in Hong Kong - or just purchasing the tickets after we arrive and collect our luggage?
There are 6 adults & 1 child (2 year old) - would we be able to get the VIP Cabin (6 people) - if they allow us to have my daughter sit on my lap?

Also - once we arrive at the Ferry terminal in Macau - is it easy to get a taxi to The Venetian? or should we look at alternative transfers? (i.e. transfer arranged through hotel)

Thanks again :)

You can take the ferry services provided by Shun Tak-China Travel Ship Management Limited (TurboJET) from HK airport to Macau Maritime Ferry Terminal. You can purchase the ticket upon your arrival at the ferry terminal.
You may get the VIP Cabin, but Children over 1 year old must travel with valid ticket. Well, children (below 12) may enjoy HK$15 off / ticket. (Not applicable to Premier Jetfoil).
Once you arrive at the ferry terminal in Macau, you will find free shuttle bus from the ferry terminal to the Venetian.
