About:How to Buy Tickets

Hi,
I am planning to travel from Shanghai-Beijing on D or T class trains on 2nd May.
1) Is it possible to purchase the above tickets from Nanning Railway station?
2) If negative, then is it realistic to purchase the tickets at Shanghai Railway Station 2 days before the departure date?
3) Is it possible to purchase railway tickets on behalf of friends who have not arrived in China yet?

During the May Day, the train tickets would be under very great demand. Thus, it is better for you to arrange the tickets booking at the earliest time. You can buy the tickets at Nanjing railway station. Or, you can ask your friends in China to purchase the tickets for you in advance.
