About:Getting to Macau

The following was posted on the travel guide:

For Air to Ferry Travelers
Travelers on their arrival at Macau International Airport should follow the sign board for the Express Bus Service and purchase tickets at the airport counters where a blue-tag will be provided to label check-in luggage. Then travelers go direct to the Air-to-Land transfer to Macau Ferry Terminal and take ferry service to their final destination thus avoiding immigration and custom procedures. Then it only remains for them to collect their luggage with blue tags at the terminal at their destination city.

I don't quite understand as from my reserach, it is shown that from the Macau Airport to Macau Ferry Terminal takes 10 minutes. So i would like to know how to get to the ferry terminal from the airport. By shuttle bus? Is it provided free by the ferry services provider? Do we need not to check out from airport terminal until we reach ferry terminal? Thank you for your kind help.

You can take the airport shuttle bus Ap1 to Macau Marine ferry terminal. It costs MOP4.5. You have no need to check in at the airport untile you arrive at your destination.
