About:Great Wall in Gansu

I am staying in Lanzhou. Where is the best place from here to see the wall? How do I get there and would i need to take a weekend trip? I am currently teaching english in a school and also is it safe for a young western woman to go alone?

Hey, you may go to Jiayuguan to visit Jiayuguan Pass and the Overhanging Great Wall.

You can take trains. It takes 8-11 hours.
