About:China Customs Declaration

I will visit China to visit my sister as well as bringing 1kg of bird nest for her daily consume (health matter). is it allowed to take 1 kg of bird nest into China without declare it since it is for personal use only.

Yes, it's allowed, you may just take it to China without declaration.

very well.. thank you for your info
so i do not have to fill in any declaration form during my arrival there..
any way i have read that for larger quantitiy, 10% tax will be charged right? is it 10% from the total price of the goods we purchased in our home country? or they will charged it based on the goods price sold there..

Yes, you have to pay 25% tax if you take too much. The tax will be charged based on the price in your home country.
