About:Chinese Consulates in Thailand

Is it possible for a Philippine passport holder travelling in Chiang Mai to get a tourist visa to China? In the past, I have had visas to China issued and approved, but they were acquired from the Philippines, and once in Africa where I used to a resident. I gathered from this website that the Chiang Mai consulate sometimes allow non-THai citizens to apply? I am in THailand on a tourist visa.

You can have a try there but no one can ensure you with that. And possibly, you may need to apply again in Philippines.
