Would you please tell me if this company is an honest company, and whether the method of payment is safe?

It's hard to say it's reliable or not. I think you'd better purchase the products through a reliable international trade company, about which you can contact the Commercial office of the China Embassy in UK for help. Or you can just pay for a certain amount of money, and send the left to the company after receiving the products.

It's always suggested to check your supplier before payment, esp the first time dealing with them. for small orders, a basic verificaiton will be ok. that means checking their business license with local officials for confirmation, assure you if they are authentic.
