About:China Customs Declaration

Hi,
my friend is sending her one unused iphone to me through UPS. Does she need to pay taxes for the phone though it is used?

I think you have to pay some tax since it is unused and packaged.

The tax rate is 10% of its price. If you can't provide the receipt, China customs will tax on its estimated price.
