Hello,
Is it possible for to apply for a visa to China from Chiang Mai where I am currently living? I am planning to visit a trade fair in Guangzhou. Can you please tell me which type of visa I need to apply for and what information (documents, photos, cost) is required?
Thank you.

It is possible for you to apply for a visa to China from Chiang Mai. You need to obtain a business visa, the requirements are your passport, one recent color passport photo, one completed visa application form, the invitation letter from the trade fair organizor, flight tickets. The fee is THB 1,100 Bhats for a single entry visa. It takes 4 working days.
