Hi,
I applied for a tourist visa, but the embassy stamped an F-Visa on my passport. Do I need to contact embassy again and ask if I can travel on F-visa for sight-seeing? what should be done in this regard?
Thanks.

Will it be ok, when I arrive at the port of entry and tell visa officer that I am here for sight-seeing, even if my visa type is F-visa? Will they raise any issue/concern? Thanks for your quick response.

Does that mean he can specify his purpose of visit as business and no one will ask him details about it? Or do you think there will be questioning about what specific business he intends to do.

The applicant should check all the information of the issued visa upon collection and if necessary raise queries at the same time. If there is no immediate query relating to the issued visa, the applicant is held responsible under any circumstances thereafter.

Now, just travel to China on F visa for sightseeing.

Don't worry, no one will check if you hold a valid visa. and if they do, you'd better not tell your real purpose for sight-seeing on an f visa for business.
