About:Baggage Allowance for Chinese Domestic Flights

I will be flying to China via United Airline and stopped in Beijing for two nights and then plan to take another domestic airline to Harbin. I was told by a friend any stop-over for less than 72 hour will be considered as international to domestic transfer so the luggage allowance is following international std (2 pieces for <70 pound each).
Is this true?

It seems true, but your transfer from Beijing to Harbin may not be considered as an international stop-over. You'd better confirm this with the air company in advance.
