About:Chinese Embassy in Japan

Hello,
I'm a EU citizen living in Japan (as a student) and I want to visit my friends in China. I'll stay in Shanghai for a week but I also want to visit other friends in Hong Kong (3 more days or so). Is it a problem if a get the normal 3 months visa with single entry permit? Or I should get one that has 2 entry permit to the main land? Thank you for your kindness and sorry if this question has already been asked =)

Hi, Gio, HK and mainland China differ in visa regulations, you need a visa to China (3 monhts with single entry is enough if you will leave from Shanghai to Hong Kong and will not return back to Shanghai again), but you may not required visa to HK for a certain period. Check Hongkong visa requirements(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/visa/hongkong-requirements.htm) for details.
