About:Luoyang Travel

hello
I plan to take the G2002 train from Xi'an to Luoyang arriving at Luoyang Longmen at 10.21,
Will I have time to visit the Longmen Caves then be in time for the 1166 night train to Pingyao?
Is there somewhere to leave luggage at Longmen or is it best to go to Luoyang first, then visit the caves?
And one more question please, I don't quite understand the door system on the soft sleeper, for two people travelling together is it better to have 2 top or 2 bottom or top and bottom one side?

Is your arrival time at Longmen train station 10:21 in the morning? If so, you can have a visit of Longmen Cave which is about 5km away from the train station.
You can check your luggage at the train station. You can book the ticket top or bottom as you like. Either is OK.

sleep upper or lower bunk?
Upper bunks providd slightly more security and privacy.
You need to climb up to upper bunks which is hard for older and less able people.
You can sit or sleep on lower bunk but upper bunk is only useful for sleeping
