About:China Train

A group of three of us plan to travel by the high speed train from Guangzhou to Wuhan on February 6, 2011 and returning to Guangzhou on February 9. Please advise:

1. Train schedule from Guangzhou/Wuhan and Wuhan/Guangzhou
2. Which train station, Hankou or Wuchang, would be more convenient to disembark?
3. What is the return-fare train fare for Guangzhou/Wuhan/Guangzhou?
4. Our final destination is Hong Kong. Is there a train service from Wuhan to Shenzhen or to Zhuhai?

Your prompt reply will enable us to firm up our travel plan. Thank you.

There are many high speed trains in operation between Guangzhou and Wuhan from 07:00 to 20:00 daily. The ticket price for the hard seat is around CNY490. For the detailed schedules, you could check on the website by yourself. All the trains to Guangzhou are departing at Wuhan Station, neither Wuchang nor Hankou station. And Wuhan Station is located in Qingshan District. There are no trains from Wuhan to Zhuhai, but three trains are operating to Shenzhen daily. Personally, you could take the train Z23 costing about 11hrs to Shenzhen first and then go to Hong Kong through the Luohu port near to the train station.
