Could you please advice me on the Maglev train.  We will be arriving on Saturday night around 7.30pm and would like to know if it is beneficial to catch Maglev train to our hotel (city Hotel Shanghai). Is there a train station nearby this hotel or would it be better to catch a taxi and do Maglev train trip another timeThanking you

It is Ok for you to take the Shanghai Maglev Train(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/cityguides/shanghai/getting-around.htm) , but you need to make transfer since it can just take you from the airport to Longyang road station. Then you can transfer to subway line 2 to People's Square and continue to tramsfer to subway line 1. Get off the metro at Shanxi South Road, walk about 10 minutes, you will get to the hotel. You can also catch a taxi at the people's square to the hotel.
