I want to go from Guangzhou to Beijing via shanghai with break journey in shanghai for 2nights and stop for 2 nights in Beijing with return to Guangzhou back, is it possible to book a round rail ticket for 2 person

You have to book the tickets like Guangzhou-Shanghai, Shanghai-Beijing and Beijing-Guangzhou respectively. And the trains on Guangzhou-Beijing route don’t pass by Shanghai. About the train info, you could search on the website on your own.
