I am to visit HK by January and would want to do a side trip to Shenzhen, I would liek to know if it would take whole day to explore WOW. Is it really easy to get there from HK? I see a package that costs US$450 already for two (2) people and it includes 4D/3N Panda Hotel with breakfast, Ocean Park and Shenzhen tour plus transfer airport-hotel-airport, is it fair enough for the price or would I save more if we go as backpackers? Your response is highly appreciated. Thanks =)

I think the visiting time depends on you, long time for a detialed visiting and short time for a rough visiting.  For the transportation, I think the easiest way is taking Hong Kong MTR East Rail Line(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/cityguides/hongkong/transportation/mtr-rail.htm) to Luohu, and then change to Shenzhen Subway Line 1(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/cityguides/guangdong/shenzhen/subway/line1.htm) to Wow. I think the tour is cheap - US$450 for two (2) people and it includes 4D/3N Panda Hotel with breakfast,plus the scenic spots. I don't think it will save more if you travel as backpackers.
