Hi,
I'm visiting Taiwan in Chinese New Year 2011, ive heard its winter over there but totally have no idea what clothes to bring. Should i be wearing winter jacket? Or polyester coat will do? Is it really cold there until i need to buy winter jacket?
Long sleeve shirt can do? hw about jacket that is made of cotton 65% n polyester 35% ?
isit sufficient?
will it be raining often during early february?
anything else i need to prepare for my trip?

Firstly, there will be less rainfall in early Feb around the coming Chinese New Year. And, Taiwan doesn't have serious cold days at all. You may find some young locals do have light shirts and skirts, no winter clothes is needed. A warm light sweater and dust cold will be ok in downtown area.
Ps: better pay attention to the real-time weather forecast in case of the changeful days.

I heard from my friends that even the skin will crack due to the strong and cold wind weather. if this is real, what lotion should i use to prevent this from happening?
