About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

I am employed in China for the next 6 months, and my husband would like to stay here with me, but my employer is refusing to help us out with his visa. Currently, he will be entering the second part of his 60 day business visa. Is it likely that he wil be given a Chinese residency permit? We live in Shenzhen, and the rules seem to be super strict here!

The chance for him to get a Chinese residence permit is slim because he doesn't work in China. He can only stay in China limited to the stay duration on his Business Visa. Once his business visa expires, your husband can go to the Shenzhen Exit & Enter Department to try to apply for Chinese tourist visa for family visit. Your China work permit, residence permit and photocopy of your passport will be also required for his application.
