Dear Sir/Madam

I and 3 others are planning to visit Hongkong soon for 6 days. We are interested to go to Disneyland, Madamme Tussaud, The Peak, Avenue Stars and some other places (maybe you can recommend) and also shopping. Can you tell me the name of the hotel which is close (walking distance) for shopping and also foodshops. I was told hotel in Mongkok is a good location for shopping. If so, do u know the name of some of the hotel? (preferable budget hotel / 2-3 stars hotel)

Is it easy to travel by ourselves to all the places that i had mentioned or is it better to take a tour from the travel agent? If we decided to take a tour when we reached Hongkong is it easy to find travel agent there? Do you know approximately how much will it cost?

Do u recommend to go to Macao? If yes will a day trip enough to see Macao? How many hours does it takes to Macao by ferry? and how much is the cost?

Do you know how much is the taxi fare from airport to hotel?

Will December going to be very cold? Do u need to wear the thick winter jacket or just an ordinary warm jacket?

Thank you. Looking forward for your early reply.

Alice

If you want to live in a hotel near to shopping and food stores, I would like to advise you Hongkong Hotels in Tsim Sha Tsui(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/attraction/hongkong/kowloon/tsim_sha.htm).
If it is your first time to Hong Kong, I think you should take a Hong Kong Tour(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/package/hongkong/), then you won't concern about your transporation, living, eating, shopping, etc. The cost differs from your different requirements and standards.

Macau(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/cityguides/macau/) is very near to Hong Kong, you may spend 1 or 2 days in Macau during your Hong Kong Travel(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/cityguides/hongkong/). It takes about 1 hour, and the tickets price for the standard seat are HkD 142 on weekdays, HKD 154 on weekends and holidays, HKD 176 at night.

Please tell me your hotel first, then I could provide the transporation for you.

From Hong Kong Weather(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/climate/hongkong.htm), I get for you that the average temperature of Dec. in Hk is 64 F, so I think you have to take a thick winter jacket.
