About:Macau Travel Tips

Hi all,

I'm going to Hong Kong by December 7 (staying for 4days). I'm all set for all the places that I wana to visit in HongKong --BUT, I keep thinking of doing a side trip to Macau. I got more excited to see that there is but MaCAO DRAGON has a promotional ticket offer, very cheap fares (2way - showing on their website as HK$128).

I plan to squeeze in a halfday (after lunch, during Day1) side trip to Macau (note: I'm booked for Disney and Oceanpark on the other dates, that's why I can only do halfday Macau). I hope you can help me with some of my questions:

1. Any feedback re: Macao Dragon re their service? I'm just worried and maybe a bit in disbelief that their rates are cheap. IS there like a "catch" to this?

2. Can you share some more details about the free hotel shuttle services? I mean, if I go on a Tues, are there free shuttle services from Taipa Terminal? Is there a free shuttle going to the Senado?

3. Do you think I can roam around Macau - just half day? (12nn-5pm)

----- I've done some research and I saw some tourist spots that I want to visit:

*a few of casinos (The Venetian Macao, Grand Lisbon, Wynn).

*Senado Square, Ruins of St Paul, the Macau Tower

Crazy huh, for a half day tour --- I really wana go to Macau!!!

>>>>>Can you suggest a Macau half-day tour itinerary, which places to visit?

I would appreciate any feedback.

Thank you!

1. Yes, it is true that the boat only charges HKD128/round-trip!
2. Once arrive at Taipa Terminal, you could take free bus to Venetian. The bus is in operation everyday. Since your time is urgent, suggested your next station is the Ruins of St. Paul and the Senado Square. U could reach there by bus from Venetian.
