About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

Hello,

I'm a Tsinghua graduate student who just spent the last four months doing an internship in Seoul for my masters degree. I need to go back to Tsinghua to do my thesis defense on campus.

I have all the necessary documentation for a student visa, including an invitation letter from Tsinghua.

However, my ARC runs from Aug 27 2010 to February 8 2011. Technically this is under 6 months. Does this mean I can't get a student visa from the Seoul consulate? What do you suggest I do in this situation?

Best,

Michael

I don't thinks so, you can have a try to submit your visa application to Seoul embassy with the invitation letter. Explain to them your internship. If they will not accept it, you can send your application back to US and let your family to handle a visa for you.
