12 nov. 2010GreetingsMe and my wife is planning to be in shanghai for a vacation in mid february. Our scheduled arrival in shanghai city is midnight around 1145 pm. Our plan is to stay for a while at the airport and wait for till early morning to catch the maglev train to town, (i am really excited to experience the maglev ride, i find it so amazing.How much is the fare ride. What do you think would it be a good idea. Many thanks for your accomodation.

Hi, the first maglev train departs at 07:02 in the morning, you may need to wait about 7 hours. It may be cold during that time in the airport. I do not advise you to do so. You'd better take the airport night line to downtown to find a hotel to stay in the night. Well, if you really want to experience the maglev train, you could take it when back to the airport.
