About:China Culture

I am doing a project on Chinese Culture. I would like to know if there are any food preferences or restrictions that Chinese may have. Also, what is the typical structure of a Chinese family? What are the roles of each family member? Thank you.

Food restrictions? No special stuff about this unless it is because of religion. As to food rederence, compared with western families, we eat less meat/milk/ but more vegetable, rice etc. Much pork, chicken and a bit less beef, mutton. Well, in northwestern China, a lot of mutton. A typical structure in a family, parents and one kid now. Most parents can share house work together. They all have work, so when the kid is small. Most of them need to be taken care by grandparents.
