Question

I will be in Beijing on November 6 and planning to visit the great wall badaling section by the 8, do I need winter clothing? How far is Mutynyu section from Beijing can I make it on subways,rails, buses or just tour. Do not want to go to the jade factory already done that in my first trip. How would be the lowest temp at night in the city> . where can we see like a kung fu school in the city for the kids.

Hi, you can bring winter clothing with you, but you'd better wear lightcoat or jacket when climb the Great Wall. Mutianyu section is about 45 miles from Beijing. You can take Tour Bus 936 at Dongzhimenwai to Mutianyu Great Wall. The lowest temperature at night in Beijing may be under zero during that time.  You can find a Kung Fu School at Huilongguan, Xisanqi, Dewai. Subway line 13 can take you from Dongzhimen to get to the school.
