About:China Train

I would like to join Lhasa from Lanzhou around the 16th of October. Could you tell me which date the train leaves? I am interested in a hard sleeper on the upper berth. As on my way to China it will be difficult to send me the train ticket. Is it possible to get a booking number and to take it at the rail station in Lanzhou?
Thank you.

Apart from the train K917 starting from Lanzhou on even-numbered days in the Oct. 2010, there are almost three trains passing by Lanzhou daily. TCG seems doesn’t offer train tickets booking service to Lhasa. You would better contact some travel agencies to arrange the tickets or buy them at the railway station after your arrival.
