My boss wants me to accompany her to China in October. We will be flying to Hong Kong and from there we will be driving by bus to Guangzhou. Do we need Visa? What will be required from me when I apply for a Visa.

yes, you need to apply for visas to Guangzhou. Applicants applying for self-driving tour to China should provide a visa notification issued by China National Tourism Administration or the tourism administration of related province, autonomous region or municipality directly under the Central Government.
