About:China Customs Declaration

I am a foreign student living in china. I want to buy a laptop from USA. it will cost more than 1000USD. will i be charged any import duty rate and if yes how much. or i will pay any other charges

Will you or someone bring it in or it will be sent to China from the USA by mail? The duty rate is 20 percent. If you mail it, you should pay about 1000yuan for the tax.
