About:Dual Nationality

I was born in America. I am currently in China holding an L-visa. I want to stay here longer than my passport allows. I accepted a job teaching English in the city of Huangshi. I want to apply for Chinese citizenship so that I may stay longer and start my new job. I do not hold a college degree so I can not legally apply for the Z work visa which would allow me to hold a resident permit. I am looking at the option of applying for Chinese citizenship so that I may stay here longer and keep the new job. If anyone has advice on how I go about this I would greatly appreciate it. That is not easy to get China citizenship, the first requst is you should give up you own citizenship. To apply to be a China citizen is much harder than a Chinses citizen apply for citizenship of other countries. If you want stay longer, you can appy for one year L visa. Z visa need a college degree?! I am not sure about this.
