About:China Transit Visa

Hi I am the one who posted about whether I needed a Chinese visa for going from Tibet through Chian to get to Thailand. I received a response that I do need a visa. IN that case, will a chinese visa do for both my tibet trip and my flight or will I need tibet visa plus a separate chiense visa. Also, if I get a chinese visa, is it a single or mulitple entry - thanks!

What you need is a Chinese visa and a Tibet Travel Permit. at present, individual travelers are not allowed to enter Tibet, you need to join a tour. If you enter China and go to visit Tibet, then go to Thailand, a single entry visa is enough for the domestic flights within China.
