Hello everyone, appreciate your advice.

My boyfriend and myself will be traveling to Shanghai between 15-28 Oct and have joined tour during the first half. Being adventuress, we decided to explore AnHui on our own.

1). Should we stay for 2 nights at Tunxi as we wanted to visit the town and thousand island, checkout the next day and head straight to HuangShan. I understand that the journey is 100km away from AnHui.

2). Or should we stay for 1 night at Tunxi, checked out the next day after visiting thousand island and arrive at the base on Huan Shan late in the evening. Stay overnight at the base and set off to HuangShan the next day.

3). If the answer is to stay at the base of Huang Shan, which hotel which is price reasonably and comfortable will you recommend? I decided to stay at Bei tou hotel at Huang Shan.

4). How long is the journey from ShangHai to Tunxi assuming we are taking the train. What about buses?
