About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

My one year multi entry 90 day visa expires June 18th 2011. Once I am married, do I have to go to Hong Kong with marriage registration to apply for a new visa and request a 6 month extension period for one year for family visit. I know Mr. Aiden stated, I would have to be 60 years of age to apply for 2 year residency permit. OR do I need to go to the Public security Bureau where my wife is a resident, show them my marriage registration and get another one year extension on my current visa? To try and summarize: If I am married, do I need to go to Hong Kong to apply for new visa when my current visa expires or can it be extended at Security Bureau where wife is resident? Due to change in policy in Hong Kong, would I have to reapply for visa even if married by returning to U.S.? My wife is originally from Wuzhou and she resides in Shenzhen. appreciate outside Hong Kong. Must we go to Public Security Bureau in Wuzhou or can we go to one in Shenzhen?

You need to go to the Public Security Bureau in Shenzhen where your wife is a resident, show them your marriage license and get a one year residence permit if you want to stay in China for more than 6 months. Your wife's residence registration in Shenzhen and her ID card are required. You don't need to go to Hong Kong to apply for a new visa when your current visa expires.
