what are the current road conditions between zhangjiajie fenghuang.

Question

What are the current road conditions between zhangjiajie and  fenghuang.Has this region been affected by the flooding and landslides?As it is a 5 hour drive to fenghauang ... is the 10 hours in the car (round trip)really worth itor should I concentrate on zhangjiajie....is there anything to see between zhangjiajie and fenghuang(villages,ethnic groups,etc )?

The road condition is fine. Do not worry about this. It takes 4 hours from Zhangjiejie to Fenghuang by tourist bus if the traffic condition is fine and I think it worth it. Stay one night in Fenghuang. You can get to Mengdong River for drifting, two hours by bus from Fenghuang. There are several Miao Ethnic villages around Fenghuang. You can rent a van to Dongjiu Miao Village冬就苗族. Around the village, there are Longkou Waterfall, caves, swings above the stream etc.
