About:Mount Emei

we plan to visit emeishan,giant buddha and its surrounding areas. Please let us know the following;
-what bus to take to emeishan from chengdu and how much it costs and its scehdule?
-numbers of days required?
-reasonablly cheap accommodation there (recommendation)?
-how is the weather condition there in mid - november?

Chengdu Xinnanmen Bus Station has buses to Emeishan every 20 minutes and the bus ticket costs about 32RMB. You need to stay one night in Emeishan and no need to find accomodation in leshan. It deoends on your plan. So, you need 2-3 days. The price 300-400RMB will be nice hotels. Hotels on the mountain peaks are more expensive. You can stay at mountain foot. Cheaper hostels are available too. It is cold in Mid-November. It is only about 6 degrees in the mountain area. Cooler at night. Leshan will be a little warmer.
