About:Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

Hello,

I will fly from Lhasa to Amsterdam via Ghuangzhou. We have a stop in Ghuangzhou for 14 hours (overnight).
Can we stay in a hotel at or outside the airport?
If staying in the hotel, do we need a visa?
If staying in a hotel, do we need to pick up baggage?

If not, is it possible to stay at the airport (in a lounge or so)?

Thanks in advance!

Hi,14 hours are too long,
I think you stay at Hotel is better.
for the hotel reservation ask you passport,no need to show visa.
they only book the details on first page of it.
If you ask Hotel from airport they arrange you very far outside the city,So you take a airport bus line one to guangzhou railway station then stay at thet airea is better it takes 30 minuts....
Have a nice trip........

This is such a long journey. Why not take a shorter flight to a closer Chinese city that offers international flights. For example, there is a direct flight from Chengdu to Amsterdam 4 times a week
