I'm planning a trip to taipei next year around mid-sept or beginning of Oct. I understand it is a typhoon season. Which period is safer to travel? Is there any great sales on the period that i choose? i wanted to purchase summer clothes. Thanks.

Beginning of October is better, the typhoon season would be passed then. The sale season in Taipei is from July to September.
