About:China Southern Airlines

Hello, I'm planning on booking a flight from Estonia to Korea. I will first fly with Russian Air to China and from Beijing with China Southern Airlines to Korea. I was wondering if I need a transit visa for my seven hour waiting time in Beijing? And I also need to bring my cello with me but I cannot check it in as luggage because it will get broken. Can I buy an extra seat for the instrument in that case? If I book the ticket online under which name should I book my cello?

You do not need a transit visa as the truly transit passengers by international flight who hold onward tickets do not require a visa provided that they stay in the airport transit area and depart within 24 hours. For the luggage regulations, you would better consult the airlines personally for details.
