Hey Judy, I'm heading over this early aug from 6-9th. but I'm really unsure of the climate as some said it will be sunny and others told me of a typhoon. What do people wear there in the climate there? rain boots like hunters?

It is no use to take rain boots like hunters. It is really has typhoon sometimes, but it is mainly sunny days. Summer clothes are OK and an umbrella is a must. Anyway, the typhoon won't affect you much and you can choose fine days to enjoy yourself there.
