i plan to visit shanghai on 8/9/2010-17/9/2010? how is the weather during that period?

I plan to visit Shanghai on 8/9/2010-17/9/2010? How is the weather during that period? What kind of clothes shall i prepare? Also I plan to visit world expo for 3 days, and plan to visit nearby provinces :- Hangzhou, Suzhou, Wuxi and Zhouzuang. Is it possible for you to plan which places shall I visit first (This is my 1st time travel to Shanghai) and one important thing is that one of my friend need to go to Royal Thai Consulate to apply her Visa which she need 2 working day. So I'm really lost and don't know how to plan already! PLEASE HELP US, many many THANKS.

The weather will be muggy due to the hot summer and humid climate. It is also the rainy season in Shanghai when the heavy rain often happens, of course, not everyday. You'd better pay attention to the weather forecast. Summer clothes are Ok. This route is available: Shanghao-Suzhou-Wuxi-Zhouzhuang-Hangzhou-Shanghai

Thanks Mr. Alan for your help. Refer to my whole trip, i'll stay in shanghai. So each day i'd take train from shanghai to nearby province and make it like one day trip except days when we want to visit expo site. So as for your suggestion we'd follow the list of nearby province. one more question about train schedule, shall we by round trip in advance from shanghai or we can just buy one way by one way?
