I forgot also I wanted to ask you:
- Are Chinese people open minded? I mean can a young woman wear whatever she wants or does she need to avoid certain clothes (like shorts, skirts,...)?

Yes, open-minded and a young women can wear whatever she likes, including short pants, shirts, mini-skirt ...
