My friend and I will be arriving in Hong Kong on July 18 and staying at the Empire Hotel Kowloon in Tsim Sha Tsui.  What is the best/affordable way to commute from the airport to the hotel?  Do we need to purchase the Octopus card at the airport for the fare?  Thank you.

Get the Octopus Card for each of you, and top up each with about HK200, it will cost you HK$90 for the trip which will take you to the Kowloon station in the city, and you can use the Air port Express also for the return, what is more important is on the return you can check in your Language. When you get to Kowloon take the K4 free shuttle bus that will take you to the hotel
