Hong Kong is already in hot summer, but much better than Philippines. Please wear your shorts and prepare a long-sleeved shirt indoor. Anyway, June is good time in Hong Kong although rainfall may happen sometimes. As for shopping, I think you may be interested in the Temple Street where you could find many gadgets on the night market.
